Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Co Limerick Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died in a road accident in County Limerick.
Gardaí said the woman was crossing a road at about 17:45 on Sunday in Croom, when she was hit by a car.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Newcastle West Garda Station on 069-20650, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800-666-111 or any garda station.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Woman Dies Following Road Accident
An elderly woman has died following a road traffic incident in Dublin. The victim, who was 75, was struck by a marked garda patrol car shortly before 11.30am on Thursday. The accident happened on the Fonthill Road in Clondalkin. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital, but later died from the injuries she sustained.
