Brother Of Adrian Folan Charged With Murder
The brother of Adrian Folan, the missing Galway man whose body was found on Tuesday, has been charged with his murder.
Mr Folan had been missing since last week. His body was found yesterday in an unused quarry near Liscannor, Co Clare.
Gardaí reported yesterday (Tuesday) that they were questioning a man over the death, but confirmed this morning that 40-year-old Declan Ó Cualain, Mr Folan's brother, had been charged with his murder.
It is understood that Mr Ó Cualain will appear before Harristown District Court next Friday.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.

A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch in Dublin last week. Mr Hutch, 35, was shot at around 10am by two gunmen as he got into his car in the Avondale House Apartment complex on Tuesday, 24 May. The 29-year-old suspect was charged on Tuesday evening and appeared before Criminal Courts of Justice today, 01 June.

Man Arrested Over Missing Athlone Man
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of 41-year-old Adrian Folan have arrested a man in Galway. Mr Folan has been missing since 03 July when he was last seen in Athlone Town. Garda say that they have arrested a man aged in his 40s as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Mr Folan.
