Man Arrested Over Missing Athlone Man
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of 41-year-old Adrian Folan have arrested a man in Galway.
Mr Folan has been missing since 03 July when he was last seen in Athlone Town.
Garda say that they have arrested a man aged in his 40s as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Mr Folan.
Adding that they are continuing to search for Mr Folan. He is described as 5'7", with brown/grey hair, blue eyes and of stocky build.
When last seen he was wearing a grey t-shirt, brown knee-length shorts and sandals.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Athlone Garda Station on 090-6498550, the Garda Confidential Line or any garda station.

Three men have been arrested in connection with violent incidents in Athlone, Westmeath on Tuesday. In the first incident, a taxi driver, aged in his 70s, was attacked by two male passengers he had picked up on Church Street and driven to Bloomfield Drive. The driver suffered a number of stab wounds during the incident.

Man Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Michael Devoy Released
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy has been released without charge. The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014. A man in his 20s was being questioned by officers at Tallaght Garda Station. He has since been released. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Man Arrested And Firearm Seized
A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.
