Investigation Launches After Two Houses Shot At In Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation in to two gun attacks on Wednesday night.

At about 23:15 shots were fired at a house on Lissadell Road, Drimnagh. There were three people in the house, but all escaped injury.

A few minutes later more shots were fired at another house on Walkinson Drive. A man in his 30s was injured in the shooting, and was taken to St James's Hospital. His injuries are described as minor.

Four other people were in the house at the time, but all escaped injury.

Garda have appeal for any one with any information to contact them.

Shootings Probed
There have been two shootings – one on either side of the border - over the last few days. Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident that took place in licensed premises on Dublin's Barry Road on Saturday evening. Two men made their way into the bar and approached a man in the toilets.

Shots Fired At Apartment In Donaghmede
Gardaí are investigating reports that four shots were fired at an apartment in Donaghmede in north east Dublin this morning. The dwelling at Grattan Lodge is sub-divided into apartments and investigators have closed off the area while the scene is examined. A report of shots fired was called in to Gardaí at around 1.40am.

Shots Fired At House In North Dublin
An investigation has been launched following a shooting incident in north Dublin last night. At approximately 10.30pm, shots were fired at a house in the Cromcastle Court area in Kilmore. According to reports, a window of the house was smashed but nobody was injured. Gardaí attended the scene and officers carried out a technical exam of the area.
