Shots Fired At Apartment In Donaghmede

Gardaí are investigating reports that four shots were fired at an apartment in Donaghmede in north east Dublin this morning.

The dwelling at Grattan Lodge is sub-divided into apartments and investigators have closed off the area while the scene is examined.

A report of shots fired was called in to Gardaí at around 1.40am.

The apartment is understood to have been occupied at the time, but there are no reports of any injuries.

Man Charged In Connection With Gareth Hutch Murder
A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch in Dublin last week. Mr Hutch, 35, was shot at around 10am by two gunmen as he got into his car in the Avondale House Apartment complex on Tuesday, 24 May. The 29-year-old suspect was charged on Tuesday evening and appeared before Criminal Courts of Justice today, 01 June.

Woman In Court Over Gareth Hutch Murder
A woman aged in her 40s has appeared in court charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Gareth Hutch. Mr Hutch was shot and killed in an incident at Avondale House Apartment complex, off Parnell Street on Tuesday, 24 May.

Three Further Arrests Over Inchicore Murder
Gardai have made three further arrests in relation to the murder David Byrne on the 19th March 2011. Three males all aged in their late teens were arrested this morning and are currently detained at Garda Stations in the south inner city.

Two Arrested Over Byrne Murder
Two men in their 20's have been arrested in West Dublin in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Inchicore. David Byrne was found in the car park of Emmet Court apartment block on Saturday night. He was stabbed at least four times and was pronounced dead in St James's Hospital.

Four Arrested Over Dublin Murder
Detectives are questioning four teenagers in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Inchicore on Saturday night. Two 14-year-old boys, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, were arrested by Gardaí this morning and are being held at separate garda stations on the southside of Dublin city.
