Drugs And Suspect Driving License Seized In Raid

An investigation is ongoing after gardaí seized €2000 worth of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy from an unoccupied house in Ballymount, Dublin.

Officers searched the property on Tuesday at about 15:45 recovering the drugs along with €2000 in cash and €2500 worth of fireworks.

A number of mobile phones and suspected false driving licenses were also seized in the raid.

Garda say that the raid was part of an ongoing operation and the investigation would continue.

Suspect Released Following Drugs Raid
Heroin, cannabis and amphetamine worth an estimated €40,000 has been seized by gardaí during a search of a house in Thurles. Two arrests were made during the search, a woman in her 20s, who has since been released, and a man in his 30s, who remains in custody.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

€60k Cocaine Seized In Co Cork Raid
Gardaí in Co Cork have seized over €60,000 worth of suspected cocaine and a suspected imitation firearm. The drugs were discovered at a house in the Newmarket area on Thursday night, 12 September. No arrests have been made as yet. An investigation is ongoing and all items will be sent for analysis.

Heroin Worth €100,000 Seized In Raid
A 29-year-old man has appeared in court following the seizure of heroin with an estimated street value of €100,000 from an apartment in Tallaght. The drugs were recovered during a planned raid by gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs Unit yesterday afternoon. Drug paraphernalia was also recovered.
