Heroin Worth €100,000 Seized In Raid

A 29-year-old man has appeared in court following the seizure of heroin with an estimated street value of €100,000 from an apartment in Tallaght.

The drugs were recovered during a planned raid by gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs Unit yesterday afternoon.

Drug paraphernalia was also recovered.

The man appeared before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with the find.

Guns And Drugs Recovered In Tallaght During Weekend Searches
Five guns and drugs worth an estimated €250,000 have been recovered during a search of houses in Tallaght. A search of two properties was carried out on Saturday morning by members of the Organised Crime Unit, the Garda National Drugs Unit, Crime and Security and the Emergency Response Unit, and local units from Tallaght.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.

Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

Man Due In Court Over Cannabis Seizure
A 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin. The man is due to appear before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with a seizure of cannabis herb in a planned search of premises at Russell Downs in Jobstown.

Man Arrested Over Roscommon Device
A man has been arrested in connection with the detenation of an explosive device in Roscommon. Gardaí in Roscommon investigating the improvised explosive device, which caused damage to a business premise at Castle Street, Roscommon on Sunday, arrested a male in his 30's yesterday evening. The male was arrested at approx 6pm in the Kildare region.
