Two Arrested In Connection With Cash-In-Transit Van Robbery

Two men have been arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit van robbery in Dublin.

The men, aged in their 20s and 60s, have been detained by Gardai in connection with the incident which happened on Fortunestown Way last October.

Both men are being held at Tallaght Garda Station where they can be questioned for up to 72 hours.

Three men have been arrested in connection with a suspected armed robbery at a shop in Bawnogue Shopping Centre, Clondalkin. Two masked men threatened shop staff with a suspected firearm and fled the scene with a sum of cash. When the suspects left they were seen going in the direction of the Lealand estate.

Four Arrested Over Armed Robbery At Jewellers
Four men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a jewellery shop in Galway. Garda said the men were arrested in connection with the robbery of Hartmann's Jewellers on William Street at about 10:45 on Wednesday morning. It is understood four masked men, one believed to have been armed, entered the shop and threatened staff.

Two Arrested In Connection With Supermarket Robbery
Garda have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Lidl supermarket in Dublin on Thursday night. Staff at the store on Grange Road in Rathfarnham were threatened by three men armed with a baseball bat and a handgun. The escaped with a sum of cash. No-one was injured during the robbery.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a post office robbery in Co Carlow. The incident happened at Leighlinbridge Post Office yesterday, 01 March. The suspects, one believed to be armed with a firearm and the other in possession of a hammer, entered the post office at around 10am on Tuesday morning.

Man Charged In Connection With Robbery And Fatal Collision
A man, aged in his 20s, is due to appear before Dun Laoghaire District Court charged in connection with a robbery and fatal traffic collision on 10 March, 2020. Two women, aged in their 50s, were struck by a car as it fled the scene of a robbery in Killiney earlier this month.
