Two Arrested In Connection With Supermarket Robbery
Garda have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Lidl supermarket in Dublin on Thursday night.
Staff at the store on Grange Road in Rathfarnham were threatened by three men armed with a baseball bat and a handgun.
The escaped with a sum of cash. No-one was injured during the robbery.
A short time after the robbery a 23-year-old and 33-year-old man was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station.
Money and a handgun were also recovered.

Three men arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of a Dublin post office have been released without charge. It is understood three masked suspects armed with knives, a crowbar and other implements entered the building on Leonard's Corner at around 12:30pm yesterday, 03 December.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a jewellery shop in Galway. Garda said the men were arrested in connection with the robbery of Hartmann's Jewellers on William Street at about 10:45 on Wednesday morning. It is understood four masked men, one believed to have been armed, entered the shop and threatened staff.

Two Arrested Following Post Office Raid
Two men have been arrested following an armed robbery of a post office in Dublin. At around 11am two men entered the premises, at The Mill Shopping Centre in Clondalkin, carrying what is believed to be firearms, and demanded money. The pair made off with a sum of money but were later arrested. Gardai are continuing to investigate the incident.

Two Held After Post Office Raid
Gardaí in Co Dublin have arrested two men in connection with the armed robbery of a post office. According to reports two men entered the Clonsilla Post Office at around 10am. They escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash. Garda arrested two men a short time later on the M6, near Tyrrellspass in Co Westmeath.
