Four Arrested Over 2013 Cash-In-Transit Robbery

Four people have been arrested in Dublin this morning in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery that took place last year.

The robbery was carried on at about 11:45am on 21 October 2013 at Fortunestown Way in Tallaght.

On Wednesday morning, garda arrested three men and a woman, all said to be aged in the 30s, in connection with the crime.

They are currently being held at Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations.

Four Arrested Over Armed Robbery At Jewellers
Four men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a jewellery shop in Galway. Garda said the men were arrested in connection with the robbery of Hartmann's Jewellers on William Street at about 10:45 on Wednesday morning. It is understood four masked men, one believed to have been armed, entered the shop and threatened staff.

Two Arrested In Connection With Cash-In-Transit Van Robbery
Two men have been arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit van robbery in Dublin. The men, aged in their 20s and 60s, have been detained by Gardai in connection with the incident which happened on Fortunestown Way last October. Both men are being held at Tallaght Garda Station where they can be questioned for up to 72 hours.

Man Arrested Following Cash-In-Transit Robbery
A man has been arrested following a cash-in-transit robbery that occurred on the Old Bawn Road, Tallaght at approximately 1pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 9 September). Three males, one armed with a shotgun, and another armed with a weapon, confronted a security worker as he was making a cash collection. A third man remained in the car.
