Man Dies In Fall At Sligo Hotel
Gardaí in Sligo have reported the death of a 28-year-old man after a fall from a railing on Quay Street.
The man is thought to have been trying to access Sligo City Hotel at about 01:45 when he fell, sustaining serious head injuries.
It is understood that a woman was also injured in the incident.
The man, who has not yet been named, died shortly after 2am at Sligo General Hospital.

Pensioner Dies In Sligo Collision
A pensioner has died in a car crash in County Sligo. The collision, which involved a car and a van, occurred at Lufnadeffa, Ballysadare at around 12.20pm on Wednesday. The driver of the car, a female in her 80s and the van driver are being treated in hospital with serious injures. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two Arrested Over Murder Of Martin Kivlehan
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Martin Kivlehan. 59-year-old Mr Kivlehan was found with stab wounds at his apartment in Sligo on 03 August. Both men were both arrested in Sligo town and are currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Man, 49, Injured In Sligo Assault
A man has been injured during an assault, after a dispute in County Sligo last night. Gardai in Sligo said they are investigating the "serious assault", which occurred at a walkway connecting Stevens Street car park and Rockwood Parade last night. The injured man was found lying near the walkway and the Garavogue River at about 9pm.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
