Pensioner Dies In Sligo Collision
A pensioner has died in a car crash in County Sligo.
The collision, which involved a car and a van, occurred at Lufnadeffa, Ballysadare at around 12.20pm on Wednesday.
The driver of the car, a female in her 80s and the van driver are being treated in hospital with serious injures.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Man Dies In Co Galway Collision
A man in his 30s has died following a collision in County Galway. The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 1am on Monday morning, 02 September. A car and a van were involved, with the driver of the car pronounced dead at the scene. The road has been closed to allow a technical examination to be carried out.

A woman has died following a road collision in Co Waterford. The accident occurred on the N25 at Ballyduff West on the main Waterford-Dungarven Road at around 11.30pm last night. The woman, 45, had been a passenger in a car that crashed with a van.

Deadly Cavan Road Crash Probed
Two men have been killed following a road traffic collision near Virginia, Co Cavan. The accident involving a car and a van occurred on the N3 near Lisduff, Virginia at 10.30pm on Wednesday. The dead men were travelling in the van with the driver being in his late 20s and the passenger in his late 30s.
