Garda Appeal For Information After Man Is Found With Head Injuries

A man is being treated at Beaumont Hospital after being found on the main street in Clongriffin in Dublin with serious head injuries at around 12:30 on Monday morning.

Garda have launched an investigation to try and established the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the man and how he sustained his injuries. The scene has been sealed off pending a forensic investigation.

Garda have appealed for any witnesses of anyone in the area around the time of the discovery to contact them in Coolock Garda Station.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Witness Appeal Following Alleged Assault In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses of an alleged assault at Dame Lane, Dublin, on Saturday 25 June. Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of an unconscious man by a member of the public at about 11.30pm. The man, in his late 30s, was found with serious head injuries, close to the entrance to a pub on Dame Lane.

Murder Investigation Launched After Clontarf Fire
Gardai have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a body in a house in Clontarf, north Dublin, which was destroyed in a blaze. The fire broke out around 2:30am on Thursday morning at the house on Seafield Road East. A 38-year-old man was arrested after the fire was extinguished and he was taken to Raheny Garda Station.
