Witness Appeal Following Alleged Assault In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses of an alleged assault at Dame Lane, Dublin, on Saturday 25 June.
Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of an unconscious man by a member of the public at about 11.30pm.
The man, in his late 30s, was found with serious head injuries, close to the entrance to a pub on Dame Lane.
The man was taken to James' Hospital and has been transferred to Beaumont where he remains in a serious condition.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Dame Lane area between 23:00 and midnight on 25 June, to contact them at Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 666 9000.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at an apartment complex in Dublin city on Wednesday afternoon. The apartments in Love Lane, Dublin 2, were evacuated when firefighters were called just after 14:30 yesterday.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

€140,000 Worth Of Cocaine Seized In West Dublin
Gardaí have seized cocaine worth €140,000 at premises in Ronanstown in west Dublin. The discovery was made during a raid at around 7pm on Wednesday. A woman was arrested at the scene however she has since been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Man Arrested In Neil Fitzgerald Murder Investigation
A man in his 20s has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Neil Fitzgerald. Mr Fitzgerald (36) was found dead at Hills Lane in Tallaght, Dublin, on Sunday, 05 June. Gardaí made the arrest on Wednesday. It is the third arrest made as part of their ongoing investigation. The other two men remain in custody.
