Alongside this, special courts and district court judges will be on standby as eight world leaders meet at a golf resort later this month.

It is understood that garda are aware of “potential threats” from protestors and dissident republicans.

5,000 PSNI officers will be joined in the north by an additional 3,600 police officers from the UK, who have received special training ahead of the event between 14 – 19 June.
