Man Held Over Airport Drugs Seizure

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after customs officers at Dublin Airport seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 on Thursday.

It is understood that the man, reported to be Polish, had arrived on a flight from Brussels.

He was taken to Santry Garda station.

Man's Body Discovered In Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man's body was discovered in Limerick. The body was found at the back of a house in the Brierfield area, Castletroy, on Friday afternoon. The man is believed to be in his 30s. A Polish man living in Limerick was reported missing on Thursday, however it has not been established if it is his body.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Polish Man Charged Over Fatal Limerick Assault
A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court on Thursday, charged in connection with the assault of a man in Limerick. Stanislaw Stokowski, who is originally from Poland, but lives in Lord Edward Street in Limerick, has been charged with assaulting Matheusz Sabik, another Polish man, on Little Ellen Street in the city on September 30.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Body Confirmed As Missing Wicklow Man James Nolan
The body recovered yesterday from a river in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz has been identified as missing Wicklow man James Nolan, Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore confirmed last night.
