Galway Man Remanded In Custody Following Assault
A man from County Galway has been remanded in custody in relation to a serious assault on another man at Rosseveal Pier, Connemara.
Jason McLoughlin, 21, was charged with assaulting David Kilblane, 23, causing him harm on 3rd February.
Mr McLoughlin was remanded in custody with consent to bail and is to appear in Harristown District Court on Friday 8th February.

A teenager has been remanded in custody after appearing in court in connection with a serious assault on a man in Tuam on Sunday. 18-year-old Shane Byrne, of no fixed address, was charged with assault causing harm on Shane Grogan, 22, at Fairgreen. He is due to appear before Harristown Court on Friday.

A 68-year-old property developer has been charged with wasting Garda time, after falsely claiming to have been abducted for eight months. Kevin McGeever was arrested on Tuesday evening at his home in Clontarf, Dublin and taken to Gort in Galway, where the investigation into his alleged disappearance has been based.
