Cannabis Worth An Estimated €900,000 Seized In Raids
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized in separate raids in Limerick, Wexford and Cavan.
The Co Limerick search, carried out in an open area at Ballyhahill, Glin, uncovered approximately €400,000 of the drug.
No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
In Co Wexford a 42-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of an estimated €250,000 worth of cannabis.
An ongoing investigation by garda from the Divisional Drugs Unit attached to Wexford found the cannabis plants in a house at Ballybeg Great, Screen.
And in Cavan another 42-year-old man was arrested and €250,000 worth of cannabis seized in a planned search of a house at Swellen Park.
The man, who was arrested at the scene, is currently being detained at Cavan Garda Station.

Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Up to €5.3 million worth of drugs have been seized following a search operation in Co Meath. As part of a planned operation by Gardaí from Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, officers carried out the search at a property in Clinstown, Stamullen at 2.45pm on Thursday, 29 June.
