Drugs With Street Value Of €7m Seized
Drugs worth an estimated €7m have been seized in three connected raids undertaken by the garda national drugs unit against a major drugs trafficking gang.
The first seizure came when armed officers stopped and searched two cars on the outskirts of Naas.
35kg of heroin, diamorphine and cocaine, with a street value of up to €5.5m, were found in the cars.
A further 10kg of cocaine was recovered in follow-up searches of houses in Celbridge in north Kildare and Palmerstown in west Dublin.
20kg of herbal cannabis and 1kg of diamorphine, with a street value of more than €1.2m, was also found.
Two men, one aged 30 and the other 31, are being questioned by officers at Naas garda station.

Two Arrested Following Finglas Drug Find
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Dublin on Monday. Officers from Garda Drugs Unit carried out a planned search at a house in Ratoath Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11. During the search heroin worth an estimated street value of €40,000 was seized.

Separate Operations Turn Up €500,000 Of Drugs
Two separate Gardaí operations conducted yesterday have recovered almost half a million euro in illegal drugs. In the first operation last night, Gardaí from the North Central Drugs Unit in Dublin carried out a search of a car at Bellewstown Co Meath. During the course of the search, 3kg of Cocaine was discovered.

Man Held Over Airport Drugs Seizure
A 30-year-old man has been arrested after customs officers at Dublin Airport seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 on Thursday. It is understood that the man, reported to be Polish, had arrived on a flight from Brussels. He was taken to Santry Garda station.

Gardaí Arrest 45 In Major Drugs Operation
A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and “crack” cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 has been seized and a man in his 20s were arrested on Monday afternoon by garda on Gardiner Street Lower in Dublin city centre. The drugs were found in the mans personal belongings when he was stopped by garda around 16:00 on Monday afternoon.
