Three Arrested Following Drugs Find

A couple from Cork and an Irishman have been arrested in Spain after €6 million of cannabis was discovered on board an Irish yacht.

Approximately 500kg of the drug was discovered on board the vessel by Spanish authorities.

It is believed to have been travelling from Morocco.

Gardai are liaising with Spanish police in relation to the three suspects.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested following a drugs seizure at a home in Celbridge, Kildare. A planned search was carried out at a property in Crodaun Forest Park in Celbridge, where gardaí discovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €62,000. The man was arrested at the scene.

Cannabis plants worth an estimated €140,000 have been uncovered during a planned raid in Leitrim. Gardaí discovered approximately 175 cannabis plants at a house in Carraigall. It is understood the property was unoccupied and no arrests have been made in relation to the find.

Firearms, Ammunition And Drugs Discovered In Dublin
Two firearms, ammunition and a quantity of drugs have been discovered by Garda during a planned search in Clondalkin, Dublin, on Thursday. Two firearms believed to be 9mm pistols, two silencers, a quantity of ammunition and cocaine worth an estimated street value of €6,500 were found at a house at Deansrath Avenue.

Cannabis Worth €730,000 Discovered Hidden In Farm Equipment
A man has been arrested in connection with the recovery of cannabis from farm machinery in Co Tipperary. The suspect, who is in his 50s, was arrested as part of ongoing intelligence-led investigation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Serious Crime Task Force and the Revenue Commissioners Customs Service.
