Man Arrested After Drugs Find

A man has been arrested after a cannabis herb and resin with an approximate street value of £400,000 was found in his car yesterday evening.

The 31-year-old was stopped and searched by Garda on the M18 at Ballymaconna.

He is currently being detained at Ennis Garda Station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

Gardai were carrying out an operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the west of Ireland when the man was arrested.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A 37-year-old man has been arrested after Gardai discovered what is believed to be 15 kilos of heroin at a house in Lucan yesterday evening. It is believed to have a street value of €2.25million. The man is being detained at Clondalklin Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.

A search of a Dublin address yesterday evening led to the arrest of a man and recovered a cache of cannabis worth nearly €200,000. According to Gardaí this morning, the find is part of an on-going investigation carried out by members of the Crime Task Force attached to the Bridewell Garda Station in Dublin.

Man Arrested Following Cocaine Seizure
A man has been arrested after cocaine was seized from a vehicle during a traffic stop in Dublin. The 36-year-old suspect was detained on the Tallaght By-Pass at approximately 6.15pm on 27 November. The drugs have an estimated value of €770,000.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of heroin during a planned operation in Dublin on Tuesday afternoon. As part of Operation Thor, gardai from the North Central Divisional Drugs Unit stopped two males in the James Street area of Dublin on Tuesday.
