Two Bodies Discovered In Carlow

Two bodies have been discovered after fire brigade responded to a report of a fire at a farmhouse at Ballycormack, Bagnalstown.

A man believed to be in his early 70s was found at around 4am this morning. The body remains at the scene and the area has been sealed off pending a technical investigation.

At 9am the body of a second man, believed to be in his 60s, was discovered in a farm building on an adjoining farm. His body also remains at the scene.

Gardai are currently investigating the circumstances.

Two Bodies Discovered In County Limerick
Two bodies have been discovered at a house in County Limerick. The bodies, of a man and a woman, were found in the bedroom of a house in Boolaglass at around 3am on Monday. The State Pathologist has been notified and an examination is expected to take place. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Body Of Man Discovered In Dublin
A man's body has been discovered in Dublin. The body of the man, believed to be in his 30s, has not yet been formally identified, according to garda. The discovery was made between O'Connell Bridge and College Green at about 7.20am on Sunday. A post-mortem is expected to be carried out. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Three Deaths Under Investigation
Police are investigating two separate incidents that have resulted in three deaths. An elderly couple have been found dead at their home in Co Roscommon this morning and a man from Co Kerry has died from head injuries in hospital. The pensioners' bodies were discovered in the early hours in Knockriver, near Boyle.

Bodies Of Family Of Five Discovered In Co Cavan
An investigation has launched after five bodies, all members of the same family, were discovered at a house at Oakdene, Co Cavan. A man in his 40s, his wife, a woman in her 30's, and their three sons aged 13, 11 and six, were found at a house on Monday morning, 29 August.

Bodies Discovered In County Meath
The bodies of two men have been discovered on an island in County Meath by gardaí investigating the disappearance of 32-year-old Eoin O'Connor and 33-year-old Anthony Keegan. The two bodies were located on an island on Lough Sheelin at about 16:30 on Monday 26 May. The area has been sealed off for a technical examination.
