Arrests Made Over McMahon Murder
Three men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Ger McMahon last week in Limerick.
Gardai in Roxboro Road Garda Station investigating the murder of Ger McMahon, said all three were arrested on Monday morning in the Mungret area of Limerick.
A man in his 30s, a female in her 40s and a female juvenile are all detained under the Offences Again The State Act.
They are being held at Henry Street, Mayorstone and Roxboro Road Garda Station.
The original incident took place at approximately 12.35am on January 18, when a 43-year-old male was found with serious injuries at Lenihan Ave.
He was taken by ambulance to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is preserved pending a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.

Ninth Arrest Over Limerick Murder
Another arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Jeffery Hannon. Gardai at Roxboro Road Garda station investigating the murder of, father of two, Jeffrey Hannon last night arrested a male in his late teens in the midlands area. He is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice at Roxboro Road Garda Station.

One Arrested In Limerick Drugs Seizure
A woman has reportedly been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth more than €100,000 in Limerick. The woman, who is understood to be in her 20s, was arrested following the seizure of heroin and cocaine in the south side of the city on Wednesday afternoon. She is being held at Roxboro Road Garda Station.

Stabbing In Limerick
A man has been stabbed in Limerick. The 21-year-old was found, suffering from a stab wound to the stomach, in Clarina Park in Ballincurra Weston, just after 1am on Wednesday morning. Gardaí said that the man was critically wounded in the attack, but was taken to hospital where he is now reported to be in a stable condition.
