Ninth Arrest Over Limerick Murder

Another arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Jeffery Hannon.

Gardai at Roxboro Road Garda station investigating the murder of, father of two, Jeffrey Hannon last night arrested a male in his late teens in the midlands area.

He is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice at Roxboro Road Garda Station.

The body of Jeffrey Hannon was found with head injuries on a green area near his home in Galtee Drive in O'Malley Park in Southill in November 2007. It is suspected he was beaten to death.

This man is the ninth person to be arrested in connection with the murder.

Two Men Arrested Over Murder Of Limerick Teenager
Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the 2007 murder of a teenager from Limerick. Jeffrey Hannon, 19, from O'Malley Park, was beaten to death with the handle of an axe and his body was left in a field beside his parents' home on 22 November. Gardaí raided two properties on Tuesday and arrested two men.

Help Sought Following Assault On Woman
Witnesses are being sought after a woman was seriously assaulted last Thursday night in Co Limerick. Gardaí at Roxboro Road Garda Station in the city are investigating the serious assault and are looking for the publics help. The incident took place on Thursday 29th May, between 12.30am and 2.00am.

Man Arrested In Vincent Ryan Murder Investigation
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Vincent Ryan in Finglas. Mr Ryan was shot and killed shortly after 3pm on McKee Road on Monday, 29 February.

Arrest Follows Skerries Body Discovery
Gardaí in Balbriggan have launched an investigation following the discovery of the body of a men in his 50s at a house in Mourne Park, Skerries, yesterday evening. The body was found at about 18:00. The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
