Woman Arrested Over Seamus McMahon Murder

Gardai have arrested a woman, aged in her 20s, as part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Seamus Mc Mahon in Dundalk on the 21st of March 2010.

Two men entered a house at Bóthar Crionn and shot Mr McMahon.

The woman was arrested this morning in the North Louth area and is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Dundalk Garda Station.

This is the 4th person arrested as part of the investigation.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Four Arrested In Guns Investigation
Four arrests have been made following an investigation into the sale and supply of guns in County Louth. Two 21-year-old men from Dundalk, a 30-year-old man and a 26-year old woman, both from Dublin were detained yesterday.

Body Of A Woman Discovered At House In Co Donegal
An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Killygordon, Co Donegal. The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January. A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.

Woman Held Over Hannon Murder
A female in her late 30’s has been arrested in Limerick city as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Jeffery Hannon. Jeffery Hannon, 19, from Southill, was found dead in the O'Malley Park estate in November 2007. He had suffered head injuries and a number of injuries to his body.

Two Men And Woman Arrested In Kevin Lunney Investigation
Gardaí investigating the kidnapping and torture of Quinn Industrial Holdings director Kevin Lunney have arrested two men and a woman. Mr Lunney was attacked on 17 September as he made his way home from work.
