Woman Held Over Hannon Murder

A female in her late 30’s has been arrested in Limerick city as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Jeffery Hannon.

Jeffery Hannon, 19, from Southill, was found dead in the O'Malley Park estate in November 2007.

He had suffered head injuries and a number of injuries to his body.



The woman is being detained at Henry St. Garda station.



A total of eighteen people have been arrested to date as part of this investigation.

Ninth Arrest Over Limerick Murder
Another arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Jeffery Hannon. Gardai at Roxboro Road Garda station investigating the murder of, father of two, Jeffrey Hannon last night arrested a male in his late teens in the midlands area. He is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice at Roxboro Road Garda Station.
