Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder

A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge.

Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012.

The woman, 57, was released this morning.

A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Man Released Following Dublin Shooting
A man has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with the shooting of a boy in Dublin on Friday. The six-year-old was shot in the neck in Ballyfermot. A man was detained on suspicion of withholding information. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Woman Arrested Over Cork Murder
A woman in her forties has been arrested in connection with the murder of New Age traveller Gary Bull in Cork. She had been taken to Bandon Garda Station. The body of Mr Bull, who is originally from the Hertfordshire area of England, was found in a slurry tank on a farm in the Shanlaragh area of Dunmanway last Thursday.

Laois Murder Investigation - Woman Released
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Co. Laois man Patrick Burke earlier this month has been released without charge. Mr Burke was found dead in a downstairs bedroom in his home in Ballybrittas shortly before 11pm on August 19 after Gardai were called to the house.

Woman Released In Longford Murder Investigation
The woman being held by Gardaí in connection with the death of Sharon Coughlan, has been released without charge. Gardaí in Co Longford arrested three people yesterday. Two men, aged 19 and 28, were still in custody this morning. It is understood their period of detention has been extended.

McAreavey Murder Trail Enters Fifth Week
The Michaela McAreavey murder trail, being held in Mauritius, is entering it’s fifth week. Today's proceedings are expected to involve discussion about CCTV images from the Legends Hotel reception area taken on the day that Mrs McAreavey was murdered.
