Young Female Dies After Road Collision

A 14-year-old girl has died in a tragic car collision in Dublin last night.

The young female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Blanchardstown and was seriously injured. She was removed to the Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

ardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating the fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N3 at the Mulhuddart slip Road, Blanchardstown By-pass, Dublin 15 at approximately 9pm last night.

The road was closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Examination and has since reopened.

Anyone who may have witnesses this collision is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01-6667000, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

Motorcyclist Killed In Dublin Crash
A man has died following a collision between a motorbike and a taxi in Dublin. The crash occurred on the Old Navan Road near Mulhuddart in the west of the city at around 7pm on Wednesday evening, 04 September. The 45-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and Gardaí later confirmed he had died.

Appeal Issued For Man Missing Since 13 July
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Zilvinas Duda, who is missing from Dublin. The 31-year-old has been missing from the Ongar area of Dublin 15 since Saturday 13 July. It is understood that Mr Duda's car, a Grey Audi A3 Hatchback, was found on the Staleen Road in Donore in County Meath on the same day.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.
