Range Of Drugs Seized During Arrest
A man has been arrested and a range of drugs seized during an operation in Dublin.
During the course of the search, 2.5 kilo's of cocaine, 1 kilo of heroin and 14 ounces of crack cocaine were seized.
Gardaí say the arrest and seizure were the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin.
Officers from the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit made the arrest during the search on a house on Cleggan Park, yesterday.
A spokesman for Gardaí said: "These drugs have a potential street value of €460,000, depending on an analysis of the substances seized."
Miscellaneous drug distribution paraphernalia was also seized, including a set of weighing scales.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is presently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.

In the first operation last night, Gardaí from the North Central Drugs Unit in Dublin carried out a search of a car at Bellewstown Co Meath. Six Arrested In Garda Drug Raids
A garda operation targeting gangs involved in manufacturing drugs launched raids on Tuesday morning at 20 different address across the south east of Ireland. More than 60 officers were involved in the raids in counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford. Garda said that six men were arrested in Kilkenny city in connection with the raid.

Man Arrested Over Methadone And Handgun Seizure
Methadone worth an estimated €3,000 has been seized along with a handgun from a house in the Abbotstown area of Finglas. A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the finds, which were made by garda from Finglas and members of Cabra drugs unit during a raid on Tuesday afternoon.

The intelligence led revenue operation saw revenue officers search an apartment in Coolock under warrant. The herbal cannabis was found hidden in electrical equipment which had originated in the UK.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.
