Over 100 Kilos of Cannabis Recovered
Two men have been arrested in connection with a massive drugs haul in Dublin following a stop and search.
Gardai seized over 100 kilograms of what is believed to be cannabis resin and arrested the two men aged 24 and 31, following an operation on the M1 Motorway near Swords, Dublin 10, yesterday evening.
The operation, carried out by the Garda National Drugs Unit, began at approximately 5.00pm when two cars were stopped on the M1 near Swords.
A search of one of the vehicles uncovered boxes containing the resin, which have an estimated street value of €700,000.
The arrested men are detained at Ballmun Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. They may be detained for up to seven days for questioning.

Three Arrested Following Drugs Find
A couple from Cork and an Irishman have been arrested in Spain after €6 million of cannabis was discovered on board an Irish yacht. Approximately 500kg of the drug was discovered on board the vessel by Spanish authorities. It is believed to have been travelling from Morocco. Gardai are liaising with Spanish police in relation to the three suspects.

Two men have been arrested after cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of €65,000 were seized in Dublin. A number of searches were carried out at private residences in the Dublin South Central area on Thursday morning, 07 April, as part of an ongoing investigation targeting organised criminal groups.

Three people have been arrested after cocaine worth €270,000 was seized from a house in Dublin. Gardai raided a property on St. Mark's Avenue in Clondalkin at around 9pm on Tuesday night. A woman, 25, and two men, aged 26 and 53, were arrested at the scene. They are being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station and Lucan Garda Station.

Gardaí in Dublin have uncovered drugs, alcohol, gold bars and a large amount of cash. A man in his 30s was arrested following a house search in Inchicore on Thursday 05 December. The suspect was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at Kevin Street Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing.
