Drugs, Alcohol & Gold Bars Uncovered In Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have uncovered drugs, alcohol, gold bars and a large amount of cash.

A man in his 30s was arrested following a house search in Inchicore on Thursday 05 December.

The suspect was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at Kevin Street Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.

Cash Seized During Drug Raid
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of €85,000 in cash at a flat in Cork city. It is understood members of the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad uncovered the cash during a drug raid on a flat in Tuckey Street at about 21:30 on Tuesday night. A 37-year-old Hungarian national was arrested at the scene.

Cannabis Worth An Estimated €900,000 Seized In Raids
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized in separate raids in Limerick, Wexford and Cavan. The Co Limerick search, carried out in an open area at Ballyhahill, Glin, uncovered approximately €400,000 of the drug. No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
