Drugs, Alcohol & Gold Bars Uncovered In Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have uncovered drugs, alcohol, gold bars and a large amount of cash.

A man in his 30s was arrested following a house search in Inchicore on Thursday 05 December.

The suspect was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at Kevin Street Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.

Missing Teen Found Safe And Well
A teenager missing from the Dublin area has been found safe and well, Gardaí have confirmed. Concerns for the welfare of Lacramioara Gabriela Argint, aged 15, were raised on Sunday after she was last seen on Talbot Street a day earlier. Gardaí now say the teen has been found safe and well, with no further action required.

Launching in the newly refurbished Coolock library, children are encouraged to read 'Boot' by Shane Hegarty, a story that follows a small robot on a big adventure.

Cash Seized During Drug Raid
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of €85,000 in cash at a flat in Cork city. It is understood members of the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad uncovered the cash during a drug raid on a flat in Tuckey Street at about 21:30 on Tuesday night. A 37-year-old Hungarian national was arrested at the scene.

Cannabis Worth An Estimated €900,000 Seized In Raids
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized in separate raids in Limerick, Wexford and Cavan. The Co Limerick search, carried out in an open area at Ballyhahill, Glin, uncovered approximately €400,000 of the drug. No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.

A Northern Irish insurance firm is to reroute €70 million of business to Dublin in a bid to Brexit-proof its operations. MCL InsureTech has relocated operations to Swords, Dublin after 10 years of processing at its base in Coleraine, Co L'Derry.
