Two Arrested Over Limerick Stabbing
Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man in Limerick last month.
Gardaí in Limerick made the arrests this morning in after their long investigation into the murder of Darren Bennett in the city last month.
The 18-year-old, from Moyross, was stabbed in the stomach during a row in Craevel Park in the early hours of March 18.
He died a short time later in hospital.
Two men in their 30s were arrested in connection with the killing this morning and are being questioned at Mayorstone and Henry Street garda stations.
The family of Darren Bennett issued an appeal for assistance from the public at the commencement of the investigation.

Investigation Launched Following Bone Discovery In Co Clare
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a bone in Co Clare. A bone was found on Thursday, 22 September, on the Shannon riverbank at Doonass, Clonlara, on the Clare-Limerick border. Gardaí were called to the scene and are understood to have examined and photographed the scene before the bone was removed.

It is understood that gardaí were called to reports of an incident at a bar on Wolfe Tone Street at about 8pm on Sunday night. Upon arriving at the scene, gardaí discovered three men had sustained stab wounds.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in Limerick City. It is understood that a number of burglaries where reported in the Athlunkard Street area of the city between 07:50 and 08:15 on the morning on Monday 25 January. Gardaí responded to reports and arrested the man close to the scene.
