Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Stabbing In Co Limerick
A man, aged in 40s, has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in County Limerick.
The arrest was made by gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing of Patrick O'Connor on Saturday 07 July at a pub on Sexton Street North, Co. Limerick.
Mr O'Connor, 24, died in hospital from serious stab wounds that he suffered in an incident just before midnight last weekend.
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident or have information to contact them at Mayorstone Garda Station on 061-456980 , the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Man Dies Following Fatal Stabbing Incident In Dublin
A man has died following a fatal stabbing in Dublin. The incident happened at St Joseph's Park in Finglas in the early hours of this morning, 06 June. The 33-year-old victim died at the scene. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station. A post-mortem is to be carried out later today.

A man has taken to hospital after being stabbed in Co Wexford. The male, 34, was stabbed at a house on Grange Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday night. His condition is described as serious but stable. Gardai have arrested a 60-year-old man. He is currently being detained at New Ross Garda station.

Youth Held After Fatal Stabbing
Gardaí have named the 16-year-old Ukrainian national who was killed at the weekend at Carrig Midhe, Westbury, Co Clare as Roman Vysochan of Ashley Close, also Westbury. A police statement said that a second youth - aged 16 - that was injured in the same incident and was taken to Limerick University Hospital with a stab wound.

The man was walking on Main Street in the town at about 2am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood no one else was injured in the incident.
