Body Of Woman Found In Tipperary

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the body of a woman in Tipperary.

Gardai at Cahir, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body. The dead woman was believed to be in her early 50’s, and was found in a lane way near Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary.

The body was discovered shortly before 5.00pm yesterday evening.

The area is sealed off and crime scene examiners from the Garda Technical Bureau are to examine the scene in the morning. The State Pathologist has been notified of the discovery.

The body, which has not been identified, remains at the scene.

Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of the body of a 53-year-old man in Dundalk. The man's body was discovered at about 3am on Monday, 28 September in Kilcurry. Garda have named the man as Martin Mulligan, a family man from the Dundalk area.

Two Arrested In Connection With Discovered Body
Two people have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a body in Finglas in Co Dublin in January. Gardaí said one male in his late 20's and a female in her late teens were arrested in north inner city this morning at approximately 7.30am.

Body Find Investigated
Gardaí at Rathfarnham are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a male in his early 40s at a house on Edmundstown Road. The grim discovery was made this morning at approximately 10am (Friday 20 March). Gardai were at the scene this afternoon and the state pathologist has been notified.
