Woman Held Over McManus Murder
A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of John McManus last November.
Gardaí in Cork investigating the killing have this morning arrested a woman in her 30s, and are holding her for questioning.
The woman was arrested at a house on the north side of Cork city by investigating detectives from MacCurtin Street in the city.
She is being detained at Gurranabraher Garda station and can be held for up to 24 hours.
John McManus, who was originally from Fermoy in north Cork, disappeared from his home in Cork city last November.
His body was found dumped at the side of the road near Ballyduff in north Kerry a number of days later.
A post mortem examination indicated that he died violently and gardaí are treating his treating his death as murder.

Gardai have launched a second murder investigation following three separate stabbing incidents in Cork city over the weekend. 30-year-old David Hamilton was stabbed at a house on the northside of Cork city on Friday around 14.30, and died at Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Monday evening.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

A woman in her forties has been arrested in connection with the murder of New Age traveller Gary Bull in Cork. She had been taken to Bandon Garda Station. The body of Mr Bull, who is originally from the Hertfordshire area of England, was found in a slurry tank on a farm in the Shanlaragh area of Dunmanway last Thursday.
