Man Dies In Dublin Factory Incident
A man has died in an incident at a recycling plant in west Dublin.
The incident happened around 5.30pm on Monday at the Merrywell Industrial Estate, near Clondalkin. It is understood that the man, who was in his 40s, was crushed by a truck.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where a postmortem is due to take place later today.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the incident.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The 49-year-old motorist involved in an alleged road rage incident in Irishtown in Dublin has died from his injuries. The man was hospitalized after having sustained head injuries in the course of an incident, during which another man beat him over the head with a hurley.

Man Arrested In Connection With Galway Murder
There has been an arrest in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Galway in June. Gardaí at Galway investigating the murder of Kieran Cunningham on the 3rd of June this year have announced that yesterday evening they held a 27-year-old male in the Dublin area in connection with the incident.

A 39-year-old man was killed in a road crash in Co. Galway on Sunday. The incident happened at Coolaghy in Moycullen around 2:30am. The man died when the car he was driving hit a wall. His body was taken to Galway's University College Hospital.

Man Dies Following Fatal Stabbing Incident In Dublin
A man has died following a fatal stabbing in Dublin. The incident happened at St Joseph's Park in Finglas in the early hours of this morning, 06 June. The 33-year-old victim died at the scene. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station. A post-mortem is to be carried out later today.
