Gardai Raid Premises In Sligo

Uniformed gardai and detectives targeting organised crime have raided 13 premises.

Nine houses and four offices in the Sligo area were swooped by officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau at around 7am as part of Operation Golf.

A garda spokesman said: "The operation has been ongoing for some time and is very much a live operation. For that reason, and the likelihood of further Garda activity within the operation, no further details can be released at this time."

No arrests have been made.
