Four Released In Katy French Inquiry

Four people who were arrested in connection to the death of Irish top model, Katy French, have been today released.

Two men and a women had been questioned by gardaí on Wednesday morning, and a 19-year-old man was also arrested on Thursday.

All four, who were questioned on suspicion of possession of drugs, were released last night pending instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Ms French, aged 24, died on December 6 after being in a coma for five days in Our Lady's Hospital in Navan. She was brought to the hospital after collapsing at a house in Kilmessan, Co Meath.

A post-mortem examination revealed she suffered brain damage. Initial tests had also revealed she had cocaine in her system.

More Arrests In Sinanapayen Inquiry
Three more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Frenchman Charles Sinanapayen in Bray, Co Wicklow. Two men and a woman in their 20s were detained in the Bray area this morning. Two other men were arrested over the weekend and the five are being questioned at Bray Garda Station.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.
