Teen Freed In Limerick Shootings Case

A 14-year-old boy arrested in connection with a number of shooting incidents in Limerick has reportedly been released without charge.

It is understood that the youth was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning and taken to Mayorstone Garda Station, but he was released that night.

A file on the case is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Man Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Michael Devoy Released
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy has been released without charge. The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014. A man in his 20s was being questioned by officers at Tallaght Garda Station. He has since been released. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Man Released In Injured Baby Case
A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault in Co Cork after a baby suffered serious head injuries, had been released without charge. Gardaí were contacted after the eight-month-old boy was admitted to Cork University Hospital last month. The man was arrested in Cork City on Thursday morning, but was released on Thursday night.

11 Arrested Over Alleged Sexual Exploitation Of Children Released
11 people arrested by Gardaí as part of an investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of children have been released without charge. The suspects were detained in Limerick, Tipperary and Kerry on Monday, 05 March as part of an investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of children who were resident in the Newcastle West Garda District.
