Roscrea Crash Victim Named
Gardaí have named the man who died in yesterday's crash in Roscrea, Co Tipperary as James Gibbons, 27, from Newtownrahan in Tullamore, Offaly.
Mr Gibbons died after the truck he was driving collided with a truck on the N62 near Ashmere around 8am on Thursday morning. Three trucks were involved in the collision and the two other truck drivers were taken to hospital in Nenagh for treatment, but their injuries were not life threatening.

A Romanian woman has been sentenced to three months in prison for operating a brothel in Galway city. 34-year-old Monica Ciuciu pleaded guilty at Galway District Court yesterday to acting or assisting in the management of the brothel at a rental property on Mary Street.

A man in his 50s has died in a road traffic collision in County Tipperary. The crash occurred on the N24 Lillaloan Lower outside Clonmel, close to the Bulmers factor at around 11pm last night, Wednesday 17 April. The victim's car is believed to have collided with a truck.

Man Killed In Road Crash In Waterford
A man has died in a road crash in Waterford. The collision, between a truck and a car, happened on the N25 just after Kilmacthomas at around 7.50am on Tuesday, 10 May. The man, aged in his late 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck did not require medical attention.

Pensioner Dies In Road Crash In Co Tipperary
A pensioner has died in a road collision in Cahir, Co Tipperary. The man, who was in his 80s, died after his car was in a crash with a truck on the M8 southbound at approximately 2am this morning. The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident. A post-mortem examination will take place on the body in South Tipperary General Hospital.

A young motorcyclist has died after colliding with a dumper truck in County Cavan. The man, in his early twenties, was taken to Cavan General Hospital after the crash, which happened at Drumgart, Belturbet at about 11.25am today. But he died later today. The driver of the dumper truck was uninjured.
