Man Killed In Co Tipperary Crash

A man in his 50s has died in a road traffic collision in County Tipperary.

The crash occurred on the N24 Lillaloan Lower outside Clonmel, close to the Bulmers factor at around 11pm last night, Wednesday 17 April.

The victim's car is believed to have collided with a truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was transferred to South Tipperary General Hospital.

The truck driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for forensic examination and diversions put in place.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to contact Clonmel Station on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

18-Year-Old Killed In Co Tipperary Road Crash
Gardaí have reported that an 18-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Tipperary. The crash happened at about 21:00 on Sunday night at Junction 22 near Roscrea, on the M7. The 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem is to be carried out at University Hospital Limerick.

Appeal Issued For Missing Tipperary Man
Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing missing Tipperary man John Esmonde. The 38-year-old has been missing since around 22:00 on Wednesday 11 March. When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, blue denim trousers and a black woollen hat. He is believed to have been carrying a brown shopping bag.

Man Charged With The Murder Of Bobby Ryan
A 49-year-old man is due to appear before Tipperary District Court charged in connection with the murder of Bobby Ryan. Father-of-two Bobby Ryan of Boherlahan, Cashel, Co Tipperary was reported missing to Tipperary Town Gardaí on 3 June 2011. His remains were found concealed in an underground concrete tank on a farm at Fawnagowan, on 30 April 2013.

Motorcyclist Killed In Co Tipperary Road Accident
Gardaí in Co Tipperary have confirmed a motorcyclist has died following a road accident on Wednesday. A man, aged in his 70s, was seriously injured in the collision at about 11:55 on Wednesday at Cloone Cross in Templemore. He was pronounced dead a short time later at University Hospital Limerick.

Minister Opens North Tipperary Agricultural Show
The North Tipperary Agricultural show has been officially opened in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
