Man Killed In Kilkenny Crash

A 19-year-old man has died in a road crash in Co Kilkenny.

The incident happened around 11pm on Tuesday night, when the man's car collided with a van on the Freshford Road at Troyswood.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to St Luke's Hospital.

The road is still closed this morning and diversions are still in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Man Dies In Crash In Co Galway
A man has died following a collision in Ballinsloe, Co Galway. The crash occurred just after 10.30pm on Tuesday at Clookeenkerrill. It is understood the man was killed after the vehicle crashed into a tree. A post-mortem examination is to be carried out. The road remains closed and diversions are in place.

Man Dies In Kilkenny Road Collision
A man has died in a road collision in Co Kilkenny. The crash happened at around 1am on the westbound carriage of the N24 Piltown bypass. The man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will be carried out.
