Teenage Girl Found Dead In Dublin Sports Field

There's been a further tragic teenage death in Dublin.

The body of the teenage girl has been found on a sports field in Finglas in Dublin.

The girl was found in Mellows Park at around 8.30am on Wednesday morning according to the police.

A Gardaí spokesperson has said that they are not seeking anyone in connection with the death.

The scene has been preserved pending further investigation.

Human Skull And Bone Found On Dublin Beach
A human skull and a bone have been found on a beach in north Dublin. A man found the remains on Burrow Beach on Sunday afternoon. Gardai have launched an investigation, and a doctor confirmed the skull is human. The remains have been removed to the morgue to be identified and examined.

John Murray, the 83-year-old former lord mayor of Cork, has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, despite denying the charges. Murray, of Gregg Road, Cork, faced six counts of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in the city in the mid-1990s.

'No Foul Play' In Death Of Baby Girl Found On North Dublin Beach
Gardaí have renewed an appeal to the mother of a baby girl, whose body was found on a north Dublin beach to contact them. The body of the baby girl was found on Bell's beach in Balbriggan on Sunday morning. Garda have said that a post-mortem confirmed that the child was a full-term baby girl and that "no foul place" was involved in her death.

Boy And Girl Drown In Irish Rivers
A teenage girl and young boy have died in separate drowning accidents. In Co Down, ten-year-old Daniel Andre died in hospital after pulled from the River Bann. It is understood that he was in the river with friends at Hilltown, near Rathfriland, when he got into difficulties shortly before 5pm yesterday.
