Man Freed Over Waterford Stabbing

A man arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Waterford at the weekend has been released without charge.

Joseph Cummins, 21, from The Willows, Cairnwood in Tramore, was found suffering from stab wounds in a house in Lower Grange Road on Saturday.

He was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital but died later.

A man in his thirties was arrested on Saturday night in connection with the stabbing, but he has now been released.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Waterford city yesterday. Gardai were called to Church Road in Lisduggan after 6pm where a man was discovered with stab wounds to his back and legs. The victim was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where his condition i =s described as serious but stable.

Man Released In Connection With Attack In Waterford
A man arrested in connection with a serious attack in Waterford has been released without charge. A 22-year-old man remains in a critical condition after he was assaulted in Williamstown in Waterford city at the weekend. Another man, 22, remains in Garda custody over the attack. A file will be prepared for the DPP.

Man Arrested Over Waterford Stabbing
A 32-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí at Tramore, County Waterford, investigating the murder of a man, aged 25, in Seafield on the evening of Thursday 9 January. The man is currently detained at Tramore Garda Station. Both men were originally from County Kilkenny. A post-mortem is to take place today at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.
