Man Arrested In Connection With Stabbing Incident
A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Waterford city yesterday.
Gardai were called to Church Road in Lisduggan after 6pm where a man was discovered with stab wounds to his back and legs.
The victim was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where his condition i =s described as serious but stable.
A man is currently being questioned at Waterford Garda Station.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Three Men Charged Over Waterford Incident
Three men arrested yesterday following an incident at a halting site in Waterford have been brought to court. The three men were arrested on public order offences and two of the men have been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour. The other man has been charged with trespass.

Man Arrested Over Waterford Drug Find
Gardaí in Waterford have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the discovery of cannabis herb worth an estimated €110,000. The drugs were uncovered during a search of an apartment in Penrose Court, Penrose Lane, on Tuesday evening. Gardaí say that the man is being held at Waterford Garda Station.
