Tallagh Shooting Death Probed

A body has been found in a house in Tallaght which Gardai say is that of a man aged in his thirties.

It was discovered in Donomore estate shortly after noon.

The city coroner and State Pathologist have been informed of the discovery.

The scene has been sealed off for a forensic team to investigate.

It is believed the man was shot dead.

Man Arrested Over Waterford Stabbing
A 32-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí at Tramore, County Waterford, investigating the murder of a man, aged 25, in Seafield on the evening of Thursday 9 January. The man is currently detained at Tramore Garda Station. Both men were originally from County Kilkenny. A post-mortem is to take place today at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Shock 'Body In Boot' Case Probed
A man's body has been found in a car boot in Dublin. Gardaí found the body in the car which had crashed at St Joseph's Park, Finglas, in the city on Sunday evening at about 10pm. It is thought that the dead man was in his 20s.

Gardai Investigate Fatal Shooting
A man has been shot dead in Dublin in a suspected gangland attack. The gun attack occurred in at Marrsfield Avenue in Clongriffin, North Dublin at 1.15pm this afternoon. The victim was aged in his 30s and his body remains at the scene. Gardai who are now appealing for witnesses said a number of shots were fired.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Man Dies In Dublin Shooting
A man has died following a shooting in Dublin. It is understood the incident occurred in the Empress Place area in the north of the city just before midnight. The victim was shot in the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardaí have said the area remains closed this morning to allow a forensic team to carry out investigations.
