Shock 'Body In Boot' Case Probed

A man's body has been found in a car boot in Dublin.

Gardaí found the body in the car which had crashed at St Joseph's Park, Finglas, in the city on Sunday evening at about 10pm.

It is thought that the dead man was in his 20s.

The scene was cordoned off last night as the Irish state pathologist investigates the case and forensic examinations are carried out.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched After Woman's Body Found
Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Dublin. The body of the 43-year-old was found in a house in Rathgar Road in Rathmines just before midnight on Wednesday. A forensic examination is being carried out and the body remains at the scene.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man's Body Found Next To Burning Car On M1
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body next to a burning car on the M1. Shortly after 11pm on Tuesday night, 21 May, garda responded to reports of a car on fire at the side of the road at Rowan's Little, Walshtown, near Junction 5.
