Woman Killed in Sligo Crash

A female pedestrian has been killed in a road crash in Co Sligo.

The incident happened at Corballa, near the village of Enniscrone, around 5pm on Wednesday.

The 48-year-old died after being struck by a car.

The incident is being investigated by gardaí from Easkey Garda station.

Pensioner Dies In Sligo Collision
A pensioner has died in a car crash in County Sligo. The collision, which involved a car and a van, occurred at Lufnadeffa, Ballysadare at around 12.20pm on Wednesday. Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

Woman Seriously Injured In Three-Car Accident
A woman has been seriously injured following a three-car collision on the N4 Dublin/Sligo Road. The crash occurred on the Edgeworth Road at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday (7 January). The woman is currently being treated at Midland Regional Hospital. The main Dublin/Sligo Road has been closed and diversions are in place.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man has been injured in a crash outside Athlone. The single vehicle incident happened at approximately 6.50am this morning at Ballynahown. The drivers injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Gardai in Athlone are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 090 649-8-550.
