Court Appearance Follows Dublin Drugs And Firearms Find

A 28-year-old man has appeared before Dublin District Court charged in connection with a large seizure of drugs and firearms at the weekend.

Keith Ennis, from Oak Way in Clondalkin, was charged with possession of a semi automatic Glock 9 millimetre pistol and ammunition, as well as possession of a quantity of cocaine valued at around 2,000 euros for sale or supply.

He was remanded in custody until Friday, when a bail application will be heard at Cloverhill District Court.

Four other men were arrested last Friday during a series of planned raids in Clondalkin, Walkinstown and Tallaght.

What was described as a cocaine preparation factory in a warehouse in Walkinstown, along with cocaine worth an estimated 500,000 euros. Cannabis and cocaine worth an estimated 60,000 euros were also seized from a property in Tallaght, along with 10,000 euros in cash.

Firearms and ammunitions were also discovered during the raids.

Three other men arrested in connection with the raid have been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Four Due In Court Over Largest Cocaine Seizure

British Men Remanded Over €500M Cocaine Seizure
The three British men charged in connection with a €500 million cocaine seizure off the coast of West Cork have been remanded in continuing custody after Thursday's court appearance. Philip Doo, 52, Christopher Wiggins, 42, and David Mufford, 44 were in Kinsale District Court this morning facing charges under the Drugs Trafficking Act.
