Two Men Arrested Following Planned Searches
Two men have been arrested after gardai in Limerick seized a handgun, cocaine, cash and ammunition.
The discovery was made during planned searched of six houses, outhouses and sheds in the Lower Gerald Griffin Street area at around 8.30am today (15 August).
The two men, aged 26 and 37, are being held at Henry Street station under Section 50 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Four Men Arrested Following Drugs And Tobacco Seizures In Co Kildare
Gardai have arrested four men as part of planned searches in Co Kildare on Tuesday, 01 March. The suspects were detained following the raids at 8am in Athy. Cannabis valued at around €15,000 was found during one search and a man in his 30's was arrested.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Three people have been arrested after 72,000 ecstasy tablets, worth an estimated street value of €720,000, were seized in Dublin on Tuesday. Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, assisted by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau discovered the drugs during two house searches. Two men, aged 42 and 43, and a woman, 46, were arrested.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Two Arrested Over Garda Motorcycle Collision
Two men have been arrested in connection with a road accident involving a gardaí motorcycle. According to reports a garda officer was injured when his official garda motorcycle collided with a car on Lennox Street at around 14:00 on Wednesday.
